Glory glory Man United! Glory glory Man United!

What a hell of a night I had last night. It was my first time catching a live EPL match with my two good brothers, Arvind and Lohes. We caught the Man United against Spurs match at a coffeeshop near Lohes’s crib at Jurong West. It was packed mostly with supporters of Man U. The fans of Spurs or those against Man U were present too, and they must have regretted being there.

Emotions ran high, and jokes were aplenty throughout the 90 minutes match (plus 6 minutes of extra time and 15 minutes of half time). The atmosphere was surprisingly good; I thought it was going to be drunk old uncles all over but there were quite a number of youths. But the game was definitely the main attention!

First half was rather boring. There were no attempts from either teams for the first 20 minutes. Only after then did the excitement came. Berbatov was disappointing as usual. Luckily Nani and Valencia was doing great. The second half was where all the goals came from. I really love Nani’s goal. Brilliant chip against Gomez, who was really doing a fine job. I was really glad Man U won, or I would have made a wasted trip.

The fun thing is that there was an Indian uncle who sat at our table. He is a supporter of Chelsea (evident by his jersey), and is definitely supporting Spurs. He was grinning with pleasure when Spurs equalized but Nani’s wonderful deft silenced him. We nearly wanted to jump in front of him and boo him off. The very thought of that makes me laugh.

Oh I miss my star. I planned to blog a few days back but had nothing in mind. Vendetta’s doing great. Will talk more about that soon. Work again tomorrow. Sucks.
