Alchemist of Words

Fred VS Sara

Hey guys, as you know

I had a shooting 2 weeks ago for my school project.

I just received the rough cut from my editor a few hours ago

and it was satisfying.

Far from completion, but still fun to watch

I snapshot some photos for everyone to enjoy!

Fred (Ameer Hassaan) & Sara (Ika Lestari)

It was funny how she was chosen for Sara. I had auditioned a number of female talents but none matched my criteria. I had to find one as the next day was our shoot! I was supposed to audition her but she wasn’t able to make it. I took a gamble and gave her the role without having seen or heard her. The first time I called her, I remembered telling her she was chosen for the role, much to her shock. In the end, the gamble payed off.

This guy here needs no introduction. He’s a regular name in this blog already. But I chose my cousin also in a last minute gamble. None of the male talents I auditioned seems to fit my criteria (okay I admit I was fussy). With no other choice, I called upom my “most trusted actor”. He answered the call of duty no doubt, and was there the next day.

Okay, I’ll get to the story. So, as you can see, Fred returns home to find his wife preparing to leave him. She does not tells him the reason. Pissed, Fred does what any man will do, and confronts her.

This is followed by an argument by both parties. It seems like Fred is losing.

When you are losing, be a man! Fred gets physical with Sara, and pulls her luggage bag away. It’s lucky my cousin didn’t become Shan or this film would have ended with Sara’s head chopped off.

In a last ditch attempt to save his manhood, Fred holds firm the luggage bag.

Using superhuman powers (aka following directions), Sara was able to pull the handle from Fred’s nasty hand

“And she walks,

leaving behind

the pain,

memories,

and him”

“They say men who cries are weak,

but to cry

is to be human…”
